I wanted to ski the Haute Route for a while from Verbier to Zermatt, skipping the Chamonix part that I already know.

The plan was to ski from Verbier to Cabane des Vignettes the first day and ski to Zermatt the second day. The snow conditions were good, the weather perfext and there was not too many people.

Sunday : Verbier (Col des Gentianes) – Col de la Chaux – Rosablanche – Cabane Prafleuri – Lac des Dix – Cabane Des Dix – Col de Tsijilore Nouve – Pigne d’Arolla – Cabane des Vignettes.
Approx. +2600 meters / 32 km / 7h.
