After many days of Alpine Ski, I went ski touring to Aiguille du Tour (3,540m) a very scenic and easy peak of Mont Blanc Massif.

I thought it would be smart to take advantage of Le Tour lifts, starting from the Autannes and then following the summer trail to Albert 1er hut… Bad choice. The trail above Les Esseins was buried in snow and a pain to follow.

The ski conditions above the Albert 1er hut and on the Tour glacier were good though.

I climbed the Table Couloir (PD+, II), a nice short couloir and went back down to Le Tour.
Overall +1,430m / -2,120m.
