It is always a pleasure to climb Mont Blanc, and having the chance to be alone on the top with a perfect weather is quite amazing.

Ten days ago, I took the first cable car to Aiguille du Midi and started climbing toward Mont Blanc just before 9am.

Taking advantage of a good trail, I quickly reached the top of Mont Blanc du Tacul for 5th times in a few days.

I had good conditions on Mont Maudit, no issue with the crevasses but the route stays a bit under a big serac.

A few crevasses again around Brenva pass but no problem to reach the top of Mont Blanc. I stayed 20 minutes, enjoying the the view alone, then started a 4,000m descent all the way to Les Houches.
